As India approaches its 78th Independence Day, Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, has dedicated a special song to the nation. In an exclusive chat with Pinkvilla, filmmaker Mahaveer Jain praised Adani’s heartfelt tribute and expressed his admiration for the businessman.
Jain spoke about the song, which was released ahead of August 15, 2024, saying, “Gautam bhai deeply inspires me. His life philosophies and spirit are perfectly captured in this song. It truly reflects his emotions towards our country.”
He added, “What he is doing for our nation and its people is remarkable. I look up to him always.”
Jain also shared the news on Instagram, highlighting the song titled Jai Bharat. In his post, he wrote, “Gautam Adani dedicates a song to the spirit of our great nation. On the professional front, Mahaveer Jain is preparing for the release of his film Binny and Family. This slice-of-life family movie marks the debut of Anjini Dhawan, niece of actor Varun Dhawan, and is a collaboration between Ektaa R Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms, Mahaveer Jain Films, and Waveband Productions, with Shashank Khaitan and Mrighdeep Lamba. Directed and written by Ssanjay Tripaathy, the film also features Pankaj Kapur, Rajesh Kumar, Himani Shivpuri, and Charu Shankar. It is set to release on August 30.
Jain explained the film’s purpose, stating, “In an era when dark films are more prominent, we’re offering a family movie that you can enjoy with your whole family without any reservations. The film will resonate with every generation—whether you’re young, a teenager, middle-aged, or elderly.”
